Datum is shaped by three directors whose expertise spans carpentry and technical management, production management and general management giving us a unique, practical and operational understanding of how shows are built, delivered and sustained all under one roof. Our service is fully circular: the same production carpenters who load in and run the show also handle repairs and storage at Datum Hub. What began as a production carpentry agency has evolved into a production company offering management, workshop refurbishments, repairs, storage, and rentals, while continuing to honour the carpentry strengths that defined our beginnings.
Carpentry Agency

Datum Hub
Secure, flexible storage on our 4.9-acre site in Godalming, Surrey. Exclusive units, container storage, 24-hour security, and full HGV access.Plus unlimited cups of tea on-site.
On-site Workshop
Datum Hub also houses our workshop, giving all productions direct access to repairs, alterations, and rehearsal set builds on site. For shows stored with us, it’s particularly efficient as everything happens in one place.
Equipment Hire
We have a range of items for hire including production desks, stock boxes, dollies, flattage, steel deck, load bars, truck hooks and touring toolkits. Full inventory list coming soon.
